A Milestone Conference Indeed!
Our 40th Leadership Conference, a milestone event, was held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at a new venue: the Carahsoft Conference Center in Reston, VA. The theme was "Adapt. Rise. Thrive." which was fitting for a day filled with energy, inspiration, and genuine connection.
Attendees from every career stage came together to hear inspiring keynotes from trailblazing speakers: Ann Compton, Col. Pam Melroy, and Jessica Buchanan. They also participated in various breakout sessions on topics like AI tools, dealing with burnout, personal branding and bold speaking.
Another highlight of the day was our vendor/exhibitor hall that showcased wonderful products and services. And the event included a number of fun and engaging networking activities, such as the reflection tree, buttons, trivia, and tabletop discussions, to help attendees make meaningful connections and leave with more than just business cards.
A heartfelt thank you to Carahsoft for so generously donating the venue, food, and beverages for the event. And special thanks to every sponsor, speaker, vendor, exhibitor, planning committee member, vendor/exhibitor/raffle committee member, volunteer, and staff member who poured their time and heart into making it happen. What a milestone. What a day.
