About me
If you live in the DC Metro now, or a while back, you might recognize Jan Fox.
She is a 4 Time TV Emmy Winner, reporting and anchoring at CBS - Channel 9 in DC, for almost 2 decades: a LONG time in TV-land. She took the NBC station in Portland, Maine, from #2 to #1, and hosted an award-winning ABC talk show in Boston. Before all that, she was a teacher and associate college professor in Education.
Jan tried to retire, but people from all over kept asking her to speak, train, and coach on the topic of BOLD Speaking. She started a business that her hubby named, “FOX TALKS”, because he says, “She certainly does!”
She has used her signature program: The BOLD Speaker – Increase Your Impact, with clients: IBM, ACCENTURE, Capital One, Verizon, Association of Corporate Council, health groups, associations, not-for-profits, government agencies, networking groups, and women’s conferences. She’s directed GWU’s award-winning Step Up To The Mic Program for several years, and she’s coached 200+ TEDx Speakers!
If you can’t find Jan, she’s playing golf, tennis, or pickleball, or sitting in a horse barn in Fredericksburg, watching her granddaughter win the jumping courses. See? She IS mostly retired.
