About me
Karen Hanscom is the Director of Sales for Carahsoft’s Adobe Public Sector Business Unit at Carahsoft Technology Corp. In this role, she leads sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategy for Adobe’s Digital Experience solutions across the U.S. and Canadian public sector markets. She works closely with Adobe and its partner ecosystem to provide leadership, education, and strategic guidance, helping organizations address complex challenges through innovative technology solutions.
Karen also serves as Carahsoft’s Canadian Market Lead, where she advises leaders from more than 225 technology vendors and 130 channel partners on Canadian government priorities, policies, and procurement strategies. Under her leadership, Carahsoft’s Canadian business has expanded from $4 million in revenue in 2011 to over $330 million in revenue in 2025, while also securing multiple government-wide acquisition vehicles that simplify technology procurement for Canadian customers.
In addition to her operational leadership, Karen is deeply committed to developing others. She delivers leadership training to 20–30 leaders annually within her business unit and is widely recognized for her ability to build high-performing teams.
Karen has twice been named to CRN’s Women of the Channel list for her outstanding leadership, vision, and impact on IT channel growth and innovation.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, practicing yoga, and being outdoors.
